Nissin Butter Coconut, the biscuit that champions relaxation after a busy day, asked us to make a commercial to be placed on Spotify.
We discovered an interesting Spotify rule: if you listen to any 30-second ad on Spotify—from start to finish—you get the next 30 minutes of listening, ad-free.
Best thing about that? No one knew about it.
So we took it. And made it our own.

We created jingle-based 30-second commercials. Each one, crafted to fit popular genres in Spotify listener’s playlists. We told listeners that they can get 30 minutes of commercial-free Spotify listening, simply by finishing our commercial. Thus, hijacking Spotify’s rule, and making it our own free giveaway.
This resulted to high engagement among Spotify users at 2.44% click-through rate and a 10.6% spike in sales during the campaign period. The work was also shortlisted in Boomerang 2025 Awards’ Creative Excellence under Audio, Voice, and Sonic Branding category.
